Josh & Rachel Weakly

Josh: I graduated from University of Illinois with a degree in English and Secondary Education in 2011. I met The Navigators as a student, desiring to be part of a disciple-making ministry. I enjoy sports, food, books, games and time with our family.

Rachel: I graduated from University of Illinois with a degree in Nursing in 2011. I became involved with The Navigators through a friend and a woman on staff who mentored me. I enjoy the outdoors, puzzles, books, time with our family and the occasional historical drama.

Grant & Natalie Gibson

We both got involved with The Navigators at our alma mater, Ball State University. We quickly became good friends within the ministry and bonded over our devotion to discipling others on campus. We both served a couple years at Ball State and now are excited to serve together with the team at Indiana University! We love the fun community that The Navigators brings to college students and ourselves! You could likely find Grant hanging outdoors with friends, or Natalie at a local coffee shop.

Shuli Sheeley

My name is Shuli Sheeley, and I graduated from Ball State University with a visual arts and animation degree! I got involved with Navigators my freshman year and fell in love with ministry and seeing people grow through community and discipleship! I love drawing, painting, playing guitar (any creative activity honestly) and coffee!!

Bryce Dmyszewicz

I graduated from Ball State University in May of 2025 with a degree in Media with a focus in Video Production! I remember walking my classes the first week I was on campus, ran into a Navigators booth, and the rest was history. Through my involvement in The Navigators, I grew in my own personal faith with the Lord and learned what it looked like to become a leader in the faith, have an intentional focus on discipleship, memorize scripture, and be bold in my faith through evangelism. I’m a huge sports fan (specifically the Boston Celtics, Indianapolis Colts, and Chelsea FC), love music, enjoy spending time with family, and cannot wait to see where God takes me!

Zac Boehm

I graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) in 2020 with degrees in Music and Business Administration, and I’ve been on staff with The Navigators at UIC in Chicago for the past six years. I first encountered The Navigators and relational discipleship as a student, and it completely changed the way I followed Jesus. Ever since, I’ve been passionate about helping others experience God’s transforming love and discover their place in His redemptive work. When I’m not on campus, you’ll probably find me biking, camping, or backpacking, playing basketball or ultimate frisbee, watching Star Wars, reading more books than I can finish, or creating music, poetry, and whatever else sparks my creativity.

Alex Costello

My name is Alex Costello, and I’m a 2026 graduate from Ball State University. I started work with The Navigators in May and got married in June of that same year to my beautiful wife Karina. I came to know the Lord in 2020 through a home Bible study, and The Navigators taught me how to live actively in my faith by sharing the Gospel with others. For fun, I love activities outside like pickleball, disc golf, or hiking. During the cold seasons you’ll find me inside with a book or playing board games with friends. What I love about my ministry is discipling young men in their faith and seeing the growth that comes from intentionally investing in their faith journeys!

Russell Broshears

I graduated from IU in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and minors in Data Science, Climate Change Science, and Atmospheric Science. I met Josh Weakly during my freshman year in 2022 and have been involved with this incredible ministry ever since. I experienced tremendous growth as Christ transformed my life through personal discipleship and the genuine community within Navigators. During my junior year, God placed a desire on my heart to use relational evangelism to reach other students, and I’m incredibly excited and grateful to be serving at IU! Outside of ministry, I’m a huge bodybuilding nerd and love pushing myself to my limits to see what I’m capable of. I also enjoy music, playing guitar, singing, spending time with friends, playing video games and pickleball.
